We delve into the world of Eastport Artist Margie Guyot in an exhibition brimming with creative inspirations in a range of flamboyant still lives based on found items of interest. Margie loves working with highly patterned and saturated colored paintings, challenge herself to represent the textures and colors that draw her eye. From molded glass objects, plants, shells, feathers, highly patterned table cloths and more, Margie's work is of the highest caliber and the springing board for rich conversations.

The Circle of Arts will represent Michigan printmakers and delve into various forms of printmaking in an explorative and informative exhibition honoring the fine art of the print. The image above is by Kalamazoo artist Ladislav R. Hanka entitled: "Kalamazoo River Songline," a 6-feet-by-2-feet etching. Editions of this piece are in the print collection of the Detroit Art Institute and on permanent display at the Midwest Museum of American Art in Elkhart IN, the Grand Rapids Art Museum and Kalamazoo College and private collections.

Spotlight on Innovation exhibition highlights the artistic talent of regional high school students. Kristopher Jones, Director of Talent, Acquisition and Recruitment from the Kendall College of Art and Design in Grand Rapids will be available for area students to register for portfolio reviews. In 2017, Kendall College awarded $54,000 in scholarships to area students. The Charlevoix Circle of Arts presented the First Place award to Brooklyn Allen for her work, “Lilliana”.
Circle mARkeT 2018
The Juried Fine Arts exhibition in 2018 will be juried by Naples, Florida artist Phil Fisher. This exhibition will be accepting entries in April 2 through June 16th. This is open to artists 18 years of age and older and all media will be considered. Please return to the website for updates.
